Social casino only: SocialHubNZ.com provides simulated casino-style gameplay for entertainment. No real-money gambling, no cash-out, and no prizes of real-world value are offered or awarded.
1. Who we are
These Terms govern your use of SocialHubNZ.com (the “Service”) operated by SocialHubNZ Limited (“we”, “us”).
2. Eligibility
You must be at least the legal gambling age where you are located (in New Zealand, 20+ for casino entry) and able to form a binding contract. Do not use the Service if prohibited by law.
3. Accounts & security
- Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
- Keep your login credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.
- One account per person unless we approve otherwise.
4. Virtual items; no monetary value
Coins, credits, or similar virtual items are for gameplay only, have no cash value, are not transferable, and are not redeemable for money or anything of real-world value. We may modify, limit, or remove virtual items at any time to protect the Service.
5. Acceptable use
- No cheating, bots, automation, scraping, reverse engineering, or exploiting bugs.
- No harassment, hate, unlawful content, or infringement of others’ rights.
- No attempts to disrupt the Service, bypass security, or access non-public areas.
6. Intellectual property & licence
We (and our licensors) own the Service, software, artwork, logos, and content. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for personal, non-commercial entertainment, subject to these Terms.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you may have under New Zealand law that cannot be excluded (including the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 where applicable) or limits liability for fraud or willful misconduct.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses, loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of enjoyment arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for claims relating to the Service is limited to NZD $100 (or the amount you paid us for the Service in the 3 months before the event giving rise to the claim, if greater), to the extent permitted by law.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access (and any licences) if we reasonably believe you breached these Terms or to protect the Service or other users. Sections intended to survive termination will continue to apply.
10. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Disputes, governing law
Please contact us first to try to resolve issues informally. These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction.
